This Privacy Policy explains how SANNIDDHI INFOSOLUTIONS LIMITED ("PreAI", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the PreAI software and the website at this domain. Questions? Email info@preai.com.

1. The PreAI product is local-first

The PreAI editor extension is designed so that your code, file names, scan findings, secrets, and dependency data never leave your machine. We collect no telemetry — no analytics SDK, no install identifier, no usage tracking from the product.

The product makes outbound network calls only in two optional, clearly-defined cases:

Threat-intelligence updates — downloading a signed vulnerability/AI-risk catalog from a source you configure and control (which can be self-hosted, including air-gapped). This is a download; it does not transmit your code or findings.
License activation (paid plans) — verifying your entitlement (a license key and seat count). This never reads your code, files, or findings. Offline license files are available for air-gapped deployments so no activation call is made at all.

2. Information we process for the website, accounts & billing

Account & contact data — name, work email, company name, and seat count when you subscribe or contact us.
Billing data — payments are processed by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record (Dodo Payments). We do not store full card numbers; the provider processes payment details and provides us with transaction records and tax documents.
License data — the license keys, plan, and seat allocation associated with your account.
Communications — emails you send us and our replies.
Website data — basic server logs needed to operate and secure the site. We aim to keep website tracking to a minimum and will disclose any analytics or cookies used here.

3. How we use information

To provide and support the product and your subscription.
To process payments, manage licenses, and meet tax/accounting obligations.
To respond to enquiries and send essential service notices.
To secure, maintain, and improve the website and service.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate — principally our payment/Merchant-of-Record provider and email provider — and where required by law. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.

5. Retention

We keep account, license, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. The product's local-first architecture is itself a privacy control: there is no central store of customer code to breach.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact info@preai.com.

8. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children

PreAI is a tool for professional software development and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
